R.I.P. Batman :(

It's official, I have lost all faith in humanity. Eddie Murphy has been named as the Riddler in the upcoming sequel to The Dark Knight. Maybe I could see this for the earlier campy franchise, but not for Chistopher Nolan's vision which so far has been hands down the best adaptation i have seen. Honestly when was the last time anyone saw Eddie Murphy do a serious role without going over the top? ....... Anyone?.... That's what I thought. And to add insult to injury, Shia LaBeouf has been named as Robin, this is shocking considering after the release of The Dark Knight, Christian Bale said as long as he was Batman there would be no Robin. Don't get me wrong, Robin was a great character for the comic books, and saturday morning cartoons, but for Nolan's dark, serious adaptation I can't see him fitting in. Honestly with this list of characters, I see Nolan's vision peaking with The Dark Knight, and coming down worse than the Hiddenburg with this next film.
