Where Did This Kid Come From?

Is this an Ender Wiggin? (For those Ender's Game fans)

Who is the adult in this video clip?

And to reiterate J.D. Roberts' question, "what the hell is a gaywad?"

One possible answer..see below (maybe a "hard rock" host using a dumb fake accent wearing a 1950s retro high-school sweater calling it "heavy metal regalia" reading from a clipboard the names of rockers he's never heard of before lol...)

Nice review of 'Sunny' review

I wish I could take the credit for being this funny. But it's from WWTDD.

"Most people are generally stupid and to prove it Vanessa Williams of ‘I Have No Idea’ was nominated for an Emmy as Best Actress in a Comedy while Kaitlin Olsen of ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ was not. They might as well have nominated a map of Texas and the color Red too because that category made no sense whatsofuckingever without Olsen in it.

It would be like saying “which one is a duck”, and then the choices are a dog, a bear, and a broom. There’s only one right answer, and it’s not on the list. WTF is that? The entire cast should have won. That show should win every award, even ones they don’t qualify for. Best Comedy, Best Drama, Cy Young, Worlds Best Grandpa, everything, all of it.

At least they got some attention last night in LA at the ‘A Very Sunny Christmas’ DVD release premiere/party. Olsen was with her husband, series creator Rob McElhenney, who plays ‘Mac’. And Charlie Day, who plays ‘Charlie Kelly’ was there with his wife Mary Elizabeth Ellis, who plays ‘the Waitress’."

Job Opportunity

I am currently applying for this job position, and highly encourage you all to do so. Trust me, take a look at least.

Morning Music!

Not the greatest quality, but one of my favorite bands.

Best reference ever

Me: Been out with the flu for the past 4 days.
Warren: Must've sucked for Michelle
Me: She was sick the 3 days before me
Warren: What goes around comes around, eh?
Me: Yeah, hard to escape it when you are married.
Warren: That's why I don't kiss `em on the mouth

Gig `em, Ags

In remembrance of the Aggie Bonfire, I wanted to post a video about A&M. The video itself too simple to be really considered emotional, but goddamn, it makes me miss College Station. Hardcore.

So the shot...

...and Chaser.

Assassin's Creed IRL

In my flu-induced haze, I was able to wander to the nearest Best Buy and spend a sick day playing Assassin's Creed 2 until my fingers shriveled into a ball of carpal tunnel.

This is a short film based on the main charater's father. And they used the same actors in the game. This film truly is a remarkable representation of Assassin's Creed - right down to the same fight moves that you use. Enjoy.

Wednesday Morning Music (Mon for me)

Been out with the flu for the past two days, so I just came off of a really terrible 4-day weekend. 80s music for your work distractions!

The Common Man and His Understanding of Energy Policy

This show took place in the 70s; it's now a part of the Smithsonian and it doesn't look like much has changed....

Cougar vs. Irish Priest

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front has really, really got to change their name. If you think about it, this could be a really sad headline. I mean, would ANYONE want to be released by a MILF?

The Really Unique Gift

Daniel you may not want to watch this clip at work lol...

Jeff, I'm liking these Mr. Deity episodes.

Friday Morning Music

Points if you can name which character uttered these words.

"Ugh, I'm a voter. Aren't you supposed to lie to me and kiss my butt?"

"Let's run some red lights!"

It at least FEELS like a Monday morning

For those of us who had Veteran's Day off... this is for you.

Bit of history passed unnoticed

As many of you have seen, it is Big Bird's birthday this year. However how many people noted the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall? Here in Jersey, it went by unnoticed, which deeply saddened me. I do not know how you guys saw it, or if you noticed it, but the global effects of drastic proportions is so important to the global community and re-wrote theoretical frameworks in international relations. Here's to 20 years!

PS Everyone say it with me. Ronald Reagan is NOT responsible for the fall of the Berlin Wall. Despite what Neo-cons and many US citizens would like to think, that would just be simply fiction, whereas history has another story.

Worst Job in the World...

More life as Musicals

Yeah, good luck with that...

From Hotline: "It'll take years, but we can do it" -- "Stick it In Detroit" dir. Robert Phelps, on how he hopes his new film will help fight Detroit's "very undeserved stigma" of being a crappy place (Oakland Press).

Morning Music

In honor of the upcoming concert by the Ruse, my cousin's band, we have TWO videos this morning.

If you are interested, they play at Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA at 9pm. Come early, stay late, and have a great time.

Remember, remember the Fifth of November

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of* no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, t'was his intent
To blow up the King and Parli'ment.
Three-score barrels of powder below
To prove old England's overthrow;
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, let the bells ring. (Holla*)
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!

People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of the people.

Watch your language

Seriously. When you just throw around the word douchebag, it detracts from when you really, really mean it.

After last night's elections.... your daily music.

EDIT: In a side note - I fucking hate music exec companies. Really? You're going to post a free music video to YouTube, but disallow embedding into other sites? Nevermind that ads DO show up in the first 15 seconds of the video, but you require me to go to YouTube to watch it?

So I played with the code from a previous embed and replaced it with the serial number for this video. Hey, EMI: Don't be such a douchebag. (See above post.)

My favorite thing about Thursdays

Morning Music Video

I'm starting a new string of posts posting a daily music video. Why not?

We start off with a classic.
